Is my memory screwy or at one time did attacking nobles make their guardians spawn?

Was the noble being escorted? From my memory they only spawned when being escorted.
If memory serves said nobles spawned in guard zones which led me to escort them Out of gz so I could attack him,spawning said guardians. The noble teleported out leaving you to his buddies.
If the noble had those mercs along for the ride too makes you wonder why they needed you to escort them. Maybe they couldn't read maps?

... all they know is "in lor plz?" when it comes to magery ... be a long journey on foot :x
