It's good that you try to clean pu that sub-board a bit, but please, Petra, don't just post "The question has been answered". A short summary of what the answer was or at least where one can find it would be appreciated.

Yep i thought the same thing today. I use the forum to get information and not to read it had been answered.

... and, what about questions posted to that board by myself and others between January 28th and May 28th that have NOT been answered. While it is somewhat understandable that the questions were not answered, they should still be posted and locked until they are answered. I don't like the impression that no one has posted a question in that forum during that time when there really have been posts. Post them so that at least there is a list to pull from, and it should be publicly known so others won't ask the same question again.

You mean every question ever asked in that forum should be posted and locked until answered? Goodness no. That would be too much. I like it how it is, only answered questions being posted. Makes it easier to look for answeres than it would be if unanswered ones were posted as well.

@unified - agreed, altho knowing the posts go in some limbo somewhere, perhaps forever?
I quit reading because of exactly what you posted - there's nothing new,which makes it seem like a dead section; besides, who goes to dead areas? (siege players excused).

When you post in there, does it just go poof? or invis'd to other boarders? How do you know what's already been asked? Just throw in your lucky coin and take a chance when posting?

The board operates the way we were asked to do it. Only answered questions become visible.
Sorry, I just did a run through trying to clear out things that had been dealt with since they were posted. All the questions in the recent HoC were taken from player enquiries, some from out Ask the Devs, some from the equivelant forums elsewhere. That's why one referred to the 'advanced' client instead of the 'enhanced' client. It was the player's words, not the team's.

I'll try to hunt back and find where they were answered. - unfortunately they weren't answered actually on that board, but in subsequent publishes, board posts by the team or HoC's.

I'll admit that may really be extreme, but it actually may not. It could be just a dozen, not hundreds. This was my point, we don't really know. We don't even get a PM saying the question was received and will be posted as soon as it is answered. This adds to the feeling that it may well be lost. And, given that there have been no answer posts in nearly six months, it should be expected that there will be questions about the posts.

Thing is though, there have been answers - just not on that board. Both the last 2 HoC videos consisted of questions taken from there and other sources. I'm sorry I didn't think earlier to try to match them up.
Quite a lot of the questions though, aren't really questions at all, they're suggestions for game play changes or new items.
