As intended?

Just got on test center, I was able to cast flamestrike ON THE RUN!

To duplicate, simply go onto TC1 and equip your 2/6 jewlry set that is in your bank...set a macro in UO for any spell (EQ, FS) and hold it down and continue to run in any direction.
Is this a possible (my god) oversight by the dev team?
I knew they were addressing the overcast issue....but this proposed change is just crazy.

Any feedback, sighted with a SOURCE would be greatly appreciated!

You can cast any spell (wither, FS, EQ, firball, mini heal, weaken...yada yada)

Please tell me this is NOT intended

I REALLY doubt its intended. It would cause some MAJOR imbalances.

Even with both sides crying, I think pvp is pretty balanced right now, maybe with a slight advantage for mystics. But this would really tip the scales towards mages, if it is intended.

And yes, I do play mages in pvp, but it's still not a good idea. Let's all report it as a bug!

I have seen other games with such features..
But the damage output and healing is halfed or lower..
And you do slow down by 25%..

Maybe they could add that if people are worried..

Far past worried. There will not be a single template able to stand up to wither. UO is not like any other game. I don't know why people insist on forcing the features of other games into this one.

yea this change is completely and utterly rediculous, Melee dexers wont exist if this makes it to real shards. you cant be interrupted. its pretty stupid

and its "as intended" that cant be true... fix this and pvp will be more balanced than its been in a long time.

I quit pvping it's become stupid. 2 years ago was about when it started going down hill.

*IMO* PvP started going down hill when they added the Dismount timer to Ninja Form. (Used to be able to form instantly after dismounted)

Before that change, Dismounts were rare as they were easily counted Via Ninja, After this change, Dismount became king of PvP in the Form of Dismount Gank Zergs.

Before this change, a Player could (And sometimes successfully) Fight outnumbered because dismount was either Not a realistic situation (People didn't Run it) or you could counter it via Animal Form.

Since that change, Ive seen more and more PvP Guilds -Completely- rely on dismount to Successfully PvP, which has made the overall "PvP Skill" of the player base dwindle.

I disagree. PVP has gone downhill since they introduced insurance and artifacts. GG
