How do you get the star on the tree, I haven't participated in this event?
the elf will spawn on Dec 1 at East Britain park
you drop filled BODs (bulk order deeds) onto the elf
after so many points are dropped, a "charlie brown" tree appears
keep dropping BODs and then the tree sprouts leaves, grows big &
then has lights and the star on top.
I understand it takes about 25000 bank points
from start to finish
then after 3 days, a bag appears next to the elf
everyone who handed the elf will get a gift (if star is on top)
when they click the bag.
then you click the present in your backpack to open the gift
(it has a timer, so make sure you open it)
the reward is a container that has your name on it
and inside is an item
good karma & that item will be a virtue themed object
bad karma & that item will be a vice themed object

then after so many hours,
the town cryer will announce it being in the next city.
you can always ask in General Chat, which city the elf is in
it does a rotation through all of the cities that have governors
if they have the funds to cover the 2Mil bribe for the elf's visit
