Armageddon spell and the results

I know a little about the spell but unsure if i should try and cast it, if i cast it on my tamer then at a later date will i infest creaturs i am trying to tame or ones just passing by? also if i cast it near a bunch of mobs what are the chances one will become infested?

There are lots of theories on this, but I do not think there are any real definate answers. This might be a good "Five on Friday" question.

If you play with the blackrock, then pretty much any animal or monster has a chance of infection. It seems to me that there it is much easier to infect a low level monster and much harder to infect a high level monster. Sorry, but I have no clue on what the odds are, although it is not that often...

What exactly are you guys talking about? I've only been back a few days and spent all my time training skills, so i'm a little out of the loop. Does this have to do with the magincia invasion?

I tried casting Armageddon shortly after blackrock was discovered (although long enough after it so people knew more about it!).

Since then I've been hearing voices and infecting a few creatures, the toughest of these being ettins and harpies. Never infected anything more powerful than that.

Again though, I've no idead what the odds are of infection.
