줄거리
나무꾼 호바트는 하루도 빠짐없이 나무를 해오며 살아온 자였다. 그는 비록 나이가 들긴 했지만, 어느 젊은 청년과도 같이 건장한 체격을 자랑하며 나무꾼으로 평생을 살아왔으며, 누구에게도 뒤지지 않을 자신이 있었다. 그 날도 여김없이 숲에 나와 도끼로 나무를 패고 있었다. 그리고 늘 익숙하듯, 시간이 되자 숲 저편에 푸르스름한 빛이 나오는 장관을 보았다. 바로 문게이트였다.
브리타니아의 많은 학자들은 저 천연 순간이동 장치를 연구해왔으며, 그 중엔 저걸 복제하려다가 오히려 새로운 차원을 열어버린 자도 있었다. 그건 운이 좋았던 건지도 모른다. 소문에 따르면 어떤 자는 저걸 복제하려다 악마들 떼가 나타나 목숨을 잃거나 미쳐버린 마법사도 있다는 소문도 있었다. 어릴적 그런 생각을 하면 불현듯 늘 보아오던 저 푸르스름한 빛이 몸서리처질 정도로 무섭게 느껴지기도 했지만, 적어도 그가 살아온 세월동안엔 그런 모습을 본 적은 없었다.
그는 그루터기에 앉아서 영롱하게 빛나는 문게이트를 쳐다보고 있었다. 그저 덩그러니 숲 안에 뻥 뚫린 하늘과 돌 무더기 몇 개가 놓여져 있는 모습은 마치 누군가가 일부러 만들어 놓은 것같기도 하고, 신비하면서 두렵기도 했다. 그가 가져온 말린 고기를 뜯으며 그 모습을 보는 순간 문게이트 아래에서 뭔가가 스믈스믈 기어나오기 시작했다.
처음엔 그 모습을 보지 못했었다. 호바트는 뒤로 앉아 주변을 바라보며 늙은 나무를 고르는데 열중이었기 때문이었다. 순간 그의 다리를 뭔가가 휘감았다. 놀란 그가 뒤를 돌아보자 문게이트에서 이상한 덩굴이 뻗어져 나오는 모습이 보였다. 그의 등골이 오싹해지며 뭔가가 잘못되었음을 느꼈다. 그의 손에 든 도끼로 덩굴을 내려치자, 새카만 수액이 마치 피처럼 뿜어져 나오며 덩굴이 살아있는 듯 꿈틀댔다.
호바트가 비명을 지르며 자기가 해온 나무더미를 버린 채 도망치려고 하자, 덩굴은 잃은 자기 몸뚱아리를 공격한 불쌍한 나무꾼을 통째로 휘감더니 문게이트 속으로 집어던져버렸다. 불쌍한 나무꾼의 비명은 숲에 메아리치다 어느 순간 아무 일도 없다는 듯이 잠잠해지며 고요해졌다.

Story
Hobart the lumberjack have been chop the trees for living. Although he is old, but he has a pride of himself as a lumberjack. And he always thought no one would dare challenge him for his job. He came to the forest as usual, and started chop one of them. And as usual, when the time comes, there was a blue light came out from inside of the forest. It was a moongate.
Many scholars of Britannia has been studied that natural teleporter, one of them actually opened another dimension while duplicate it. Perhaps it was lucky. According to the rumors he heard, there are some magicians who lost his life while doing it or opened demon nest. It was sometimes scary when he thought about it before, but at least it never happened in his life.
He sat on a stump, and staring shining moongate. It looks like someone artificially created. He feels something mystical and afraid when he look at it. While he was having dry meat, something came from under the moongate.
He didn't see that because he was turn back and seek old trees to cut down after his meal. Suddenly something coiled his leg. He surprised and look back, something weird vines came out from the moongate. He got frightened, and felt something's wrong. He strike it with his axe, and black weep came out like blood from it.
Vine was moving like an animal, and twisted like it feels pain. Hobart screamed and tried to ran away. But it coiled poor lumberjack's body like it avenge on him, and throw him into the moongate. Poor lumberjack's scream was echoed through the woods, but one moment, scream suddenly stopped like it never happened.
Forest was in silence.

Warning
If you disrupt the event, spamming, insulting other players or EM will eventually make bad record to your account. Please pay attention to EM when he trying to speak something.
EM will try to listen to you when he finished his speech. And be advised that there's some things that EMs cannot help you with. If these behavior continue, EM has no choice but to stop the event till it's solved.
