Good grief, are all of SCAM so damn pathetic and sad they have to go and cast fields in a house to simply kill npcs? Totally attended and by all means, minding my own business. Get a damn life already...

LOL...maybe u shouldnt script in luna? NuB
WHAT part of ATTENDED does your dumbass not understand?

OMG look, it's a simple UOA (ya, legal even) macro that I'm sure half of UO players have set up right now.

As for Salty Pete, I believe it's only illegal to trap "aggressive" npc's/creatures because they can not harm you when you have them trapped correctly.

(As for anyone wanting to work begging right now, there are 6 npcs in Luna mage shop that work extremely well to train this skill.. )

Its a well know training tip to escort several pally NPCs to work your begging skills, I'm sure Poo will tell you this, never did it myself, but as long as there were enough NPCs around in the local taverns I would sit for a very long time in one location and run a UOA macro just as Wolfie has above.

As for the Poison fields cast by players to grief another player's attemp to train I put it down as spoil children that need a nanny to supervise them.

"QUESTION
Is it legal to trap NPCs or monsters in a house?
Answer
Game Masters will delete monsters and NPCs from houses and trapped locations for a variety of reasons. If a GM finds or is alerted to one of these houses, he will proceed to see if the monster or NPC should be deleted or not. Due to the limited amount of monsters and NPCs that the game world will allow at any given time, it is not fair to all other players if a particular player "hoards" monsters or NPCs. - If the monster was tamed or the NPC hired, the GM will check to see if there is any loyalty to the house owner. - If the loyalty is zero, then the GM will delete that particular monster/NPC. The monster/NPC will spawn in its natural location once again. - If the monster was never tamed or NPC never hired, the GM will delete it, allowing the monster/NPC to respawn correctly."

Well, there are no NPC fighters in Luna, aside from Paladins, so I think it's safe to say those are hirelings since there is no other way to get them to Luna. Just because someone has hirelings in a house doesn't mean they are "trapped," not to mention Wolfie is obviously attended, given the screen shot.

I sure do not see any blocking on those NPCs in the picture, so they could have left at anytime. Paladins walk around the city all day, many enter buildings in Luna, sometime I think they are players myself till I click on them. Again all I see is players griefing another player in game.

all of your guys little ideas on this would really be valid if u could poison hired npc's... if u hire an npc it is like a pet is it not? you cannot poison a pet outside of your own guild... seems to me like they arent hired judging by the poisoned bars... hmmm and the doors appear to be closed... hmmm looks like they are trapped to me.. all he has to do is change access on the doors.. not hard

You can poison someone elses hired NPC's, as well as attack them. Hired NPC's are still NPC's and can be attacked, the only difference is since they are payed, they will listen to the person who payed them. Not the same as pets.

When you HIRE an NPC and have them follow into your house and release them. They have no clearance of opening your front door. Unless NPC has a context menu and uses it to leave the house, otherwise they are "trapped".

Even tho he might be doing this massive macroing attended he still violated the RoC. All I see is a player grifing another player that's exploiting on NPCs.

I thought the RoC only applied to UOStratics, correct me if I'm wrong, but if correct how is Wolfe violating the RoC again?

Also prove that Wolfe hired then released the NPC's. Have you got pics of Wolfe releasing NPC's? All I've been reading is speculation.

you dont need to be the one to hire and release the NPC's

just as long as your cheating by USEING them will get you banned.

"but officer, i didnt buy the drugs, im just sitting here smoking it, how is that illegal????"

How do you know wolfie didn't hire and did wolfie actually released them? Speculation.

Define 'using' are there rules and regulations regarding how one uses a hired npc? I've searched around for these rules but couldn't find, it appears you know a little more on the topic, if you could shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated.

LOL @ e-lawyering.

The rules are pretty cut and dry... We can't legally bring ANY NPC into our houses to macro away skills (attended or not).

e-lawyer? Is it really that difficult to answer a straight forward question without trying to make it sound like I'm scanning through posts rubbing my greedy little hands together hoping to find a 'slip-up' Not much is cut and dry in this game, as you may have experienced yourself. I don't know exactly what is permited and what isn't, the lines seem quite blurry considering I've noticed alot of what I assumed was illegal going on. I misunderstood 'hiring' an npc was different from luring an npc unhired into your home, assuming that 'hiring' meant that it follows you and your commands and isn't exactly 'trapped' considering it's not going to leave until you release it. Which is why I was confused and asked a fairly legit question.
