Now admittedly I'm a fletcher and carpenter but is there an ore that can enhance the speed of that weapon? Though its speed is low it has some really good mods. perhaps some gear can offset the speed of that weapon?
yeah i can throw together a suit with lots of stam increase to get me to 150...swinging at 1.5 seconds...only problem is I play Siege, like yourself, and there is no insurance. Gear with mana regen, stam incease, lower mana is costly when you get killed

Never got why people seem to want HLD and HLA... its not as if they both work at the same time.
I am not sure why either since you can just use glasses and then take weapons with HLA that will work in conjunction, but not simultaneously.

As far as i was aware HLA and HLD work in conjunction.
Im certain of it...especially as they affect 2different things.

Cant you just 125dex and then pot to 146? then you would only need 4 stam increase for 150yeah i can throw together a suit with lots of stam increase to get me to 150...swinging at 1.5 seconds...only problem is I play Siege, like yourself, and there is no insurance. Just spent the last couple hours tearing through my three houses. I was able to put together a suit that with the following mods
Stam/Dex Inc. - 32 total ( grand total of 157 stamina )
HCI - 40%
DCI - 51%
Resists - 70,98,67,66,70
EP - 25%
DI - 121%
Looks like I'll be able to use this weapon in the meantime until i get something better.

You guys probably know better than me, doesn't Suit DI cap at 100% including weapon?? So you would only need 60 on the suit with that weapon??
Reason i think this is that when i equip a weapon with 40DI(ornate axe for example) and one with 0 becuase i have 100DI on suit i see no Base damage change.
Yes, all leeches and Hit Lowers are supposed to have a chance to trigger all at the same time on one hit (if lucky).

If read quickly it seems tht HLD and HLA dont stack, if read slowly, it says that HLD doesnt stack with HLD and HLA doesnt stack with HLA. Good to get that cleared up

But consecutive HLD or HLA hits do reset the timer for each.

I read it as if you hit with HLD and then HLA, the HLA cancels out the HLD.

That thing is awesome. If you have an assassin suit you will be swinging at max speed 90% of the time. I have one without the HLD but with HLL that doesn't have SSI and it works great.

Reason I prefer to have HLD on my weapon is so that I can get rid of the Mace and Shield Glasses and use the Folded Steel's for the DCI bonus, making it easier on your jewelry needs. Or loading something else onto the jewels to make you all that much better.
I dont think i would be able to have sufficient fire resist or any other resist for that matter with the assassin suit. I never thought about the folded steel glasses though. I might have to give that a try..i may be able to rearrange a few pieces..Man I'm dumb, thanks for that!
If you go the route of the Assassin suit your mempo becomes the most important piece of your suit. You can get yourself to all 70's with the right piece. It won't be cheap, but it is very possible and the end result is incredible.
Probably considering 70s after the fact. e.g. Having vamp form casted already.
Correct. My suit is 70/70/68/70/72 while in Vamp form, and I wear the suit.

It is. I've seen his mempo and my first thought was "daaaaaamn".
While my current mempo isn't quite as good as his mod wise, my resists are close to what he posted. I believe the total of resists on my mempo is 94.

I still have to carry 12 fire resists on my ring, 7 physical on my bracelet, and use the +2 cold earrings. Using Magic Reflection gets me to the numbers you read above.
(This is my setup with the Mace and Shield Glasses, I use a completely different set of jewels when I switch to the FS Glasses)
