We'll have to agree to disagree on that. You know that I'm all for good taste, and that I listened to you and I took your advice and posted feedback that we'd like to see the bank and the Fairegrounds cleaned up, which I think looks fantastic now (thanks Mesanna).
But I don't think all change is bad. I think WBB looks great right now, and to me is a significant improvement over the bank that Britain originally came with.
I don't want this world to always stay the same, nor do I think it can if we're to survive among games that are 12 years newer. I think what we have the fortunate gift to be able to do is to define the styles of things we like and that we don't like so that when the world inevitably changes, people will know the kinds of things that suit us.
But that's just my opinion and you're entitled to yours as well, as is everyone else here. The important thing is to speak up about them. For example, the fact that you mentioned that they rarely improve things implies to me that there are one or two things they've done that you actually like. I'd like to hear more about that.... So would they.
I love the yattering tree, the sunken pirate ship, the west brit bank the way it is today. There are lots of others but it's 1:30AM and I need sleep.
I'd encourage you to tell us what kinds of change you've liked instead of just saying that you don't want change at all. That way, when the change comes, they can at least do more of those things and less of the things you don't like instead of just guessing, or trying things that seem to have worked on other shards. I think they're really listening to us right now, and I think the fact that half a dozen of us were just complaining about Luna prompted some exploration into new ideas. I think that's kinda cool.
...besides which, if you're telling me I'm stuck with Luna the way it is forever, I might cry.
