Are talismans broken?

Ok so i went and got an ogre slayer katana and an ice slayer taly

after fighitng some arctic ogre lords i found out, the damage wasnt as high as i hoped, so i took of the talisman and the damage was unchanged...

ogre slayer+ice slayer+EEO with conc weap was doing 100 damage a shot
ogre slayer +EEO with conc weap was also doing 100 damage a shot

i read somewhere the max was 300% so i dont see why it sint working EEO+slayer is 200%

well after some more testing, the talisman does work on ice snakes

maybe arctic ogre lords are just not considered ice creatures =[

Actually, slayer weapon (+100%) + EoO (+ 50% AFTER the 100%) puts you at maximum damage. The math is odd, but that's the way of things. Did you also add in the damage increase from your weapon/armor?

Try the same experiment with only the two slayers and consecrate weapon.

Then try with ice slayer and EoO.

Then try with repond (ogre) slayer and EoO.

Then try with only one of the three, EoO, ice slayer, ogre slayer.

Then if the ice slayer doesn't work, let us know.
