Are spellbooks lootable on siege?

Hey guys just a quick question for ya, are spellbooks including all the uber crafted ones etc blessed on siege or do they drop when you do? I've tried disarm stealing em (and felt like a newb - which feels good considering I've played this game for 8 years) and I get a "Don't touch my junk" message. Anyways thanks.

p.s - Any attempts to print Murphy's Law will jam the printer.

Vendor bought spellbooks are blessed player crafted ones are not, blessed ones cannot be stolen or looted non blessed ones can be looted but not stolen since they count as containers.

What sort of sence does that make that a spellbook is a container? That's like saying a cherry pie is a container because it contains cherries. Fine if it's a container devs I want to be able to steal spells out of peoples spell books and then use the spell I steal to summon Jesus, I miss you Jesus, we all do.

There are a lot of odd things that can't be stolen. I've protested plenty (you see where that's gotten us, lol). That being said, many thieves on Siege have templates set up in which they can kill their marks, so you may want to think about that route. Then you get all their goodies. ...la

It's a container because you put things in it. Spells.

and up to a recent publish, if you were making acid proof rope and the protection scroll needed for the recipe wasn't in your main back pack, the recipe would take it out of your spell book.
Something of a shock to try to cast protection and get the message 'you do not have that spell' Click on the spell book and find it only has 63 spells in it.
