Are some skills needed at 120?

I am putting together my final few characters to complete my main account. Purchasing Power Scrolls has been pricey, but I like to max my guys out.

My question is, are some skills significantly better at 120 skill? I am wondering about Meditation and Resist at the moment.

If between those 2, go with Resist. You can get Med on some gear, and resist is only on a non-med headgear that I know of, other then books and jewelery of course.

Sorry, but since those 2 answers were silly.....You wont see much difference between Gm and 120 Med, you'll see a big difference between GM and 120 resist with regards to what can and can't be resisted....err I think, but at least I didn't give you a "jewelry related" answer..

If you PvM, most monsters have a maximum of 100 Evaluating Intelligence. So at 120 Resisting Spells their attacks just scratch you.

If you PvP, you will be in a lot of trouble if someone figures out you have 100 resisting spells. Whether it be mana vampire or chain paralyze.

I was just curious in terms of 120 Power Scroll puchases, what can be passed on.

One example would be Stealth. On the surface it's an extra couple of steps of movement, but does it matter. That is what I meant in terms of whether some skills are not really needed to go to 120.

Another example would be Meditation. I am sure for a Scribe/Crafter they may want the max amount of mana flowing when they craft. When it comes to making templates work though, I can see where 120 Med. might be something that can be passed on.

The answer is NO.

You can compete on any template pvp or pvm with 115's.

The only scrolls you need (once you actually reach 115 anyway) is weapons skills for fighters, and wrestle for mages. 120 Magery is great for mages that use mage weapons, but far from a necessity.

120 med is not needed.

120 Resist is a must.

There is a +10 resist hat with 10 or 15 DCI (cant remember) which is medable. There is also the non medable version. But who cares about items, get the real skill value!

120 Resist is ONLY a must if you are into heavy PVP.

Even still, 115 will be practically just as good.
In terms of cost, 115 is where it's at.
