[Archery] Archery and Defense

Hello there,

I got a question considering Archery and defensive mastery.
I used to think that the defense you get for having 120 Archery is lower than what you get with an equal amount of any other weapon skill.
Yet someone told me it was not.

I´d be glad for anyone who can confirm or dismiss that.

120 weapon skill is 120 weapon skill when it comes to checking the weapon skill of each other. The disadvantage archery has is that you can't use parry, so if you were to stand toe-to-toe with a melee char with parry or bushido and parry then they are going to have a better chance of hitting the archer than the other way around.
