This has already prob been posted but worth a shot..

I just recently made a Archer/Tamer
Archery
tactics
chiv
animal lore
taming
resist or vet not sure yet

Can vet reach long distance or gotta be upclose?

Now i was trying to incorporate this for pvp and pvm.. utulize both aspects but trying to do both u lose a lil of both.. and might not be effective in either way? Will this build be suitable for both pvm and pvp.. or would i need to focus on just either or?

I wanted to do peerless, spawn champs and ect but not sure if this build would be suitable? coming back into uo and just lil bit has changed..=)

What i was thinking is swapping my archery ova to my fencer and having a 2 weapons poisoner and using taming as strictly pvm.. any ideas or am i out of the ball park?

I currently run a PvM/PvP archer template. It's not nearly AS effective in PvP as it could be, since I run with vet, that's how I heal my pets in PvM.

Current template:
115 Lore (can be dropped to 110)
110 Taming
110 Archery (was using headdress for 120)
105 Chiv (great for low level spawn spam Holy Light)
100 Tactics (can be dropped to 90)
100 Vet (can be dropped to 90 if you use enhanced bandages which will equal 100 vet)
Last skill was undecided, at one point it was bushido, using LS on champs was great.

I've used this template for a looooong time with great success in both PvP/PvM. Factions/Non-factions. You do NEED at least 2FC though. That was my primary way of healing, chivalry. Unless you've got balanced bows you can use to chug as well.

Vet you have to be within a tile or two.

The only times I had issues with this temp in PvM, was with champions that have an area effect spell and would agro onto me since I was up close vetting.

I run a PvP Archer/Tamer, which is very similar to your build.

120 Arch
120 Resist
120 Lore
110 taming (93 real skill)
100 med
100 tact
67 Chiv

4/6 with balanced FC 1 bows (expensive to get but worth it). I like having resist on the build because mages tend to see a PvP tamer and think "no resist gimp", they tend to waste a lot of time trying to mana vamp me and/or paralyze me. Med is nice too, quick regen.

That being said, the only time I really die is when my pet is on someone, and I get disarmed and beat down by archers. I've been seriously considering dropping resist for wrestling.
