If you have poisoning try poisoning the bow, if you can yes...if you cant no.
From UOguide it says yes.

yes it does I put poison on my abc archer for a while but took it off due to karma loss and the fact that even with gm poison its not real effective and there are much better things to put on instead!

you do not poison the bow or the arrows you have to use serpent strike and it looks to see if you have poisoning skill
