Arcane circle

I don't know if this is the right forum but i don't know where write my question.
If i make an arcane circle it is only red. I've seen one of this white, in a house out of Umbra.
There is a way to make it coloured ( i need it light blue) and not only red?
And if not why the circle that i've seen is white?
Thanks

I've moved this to the main forum, since it's not a trade :)

I think it depends on the type of wood you use - blue would mean using frostwood, red heartwood etc. But it's been a long time since I made one of these, so I could well be wrong.

Also, is it possible to dye them with the natural stains?

I'm pretty sure that if crafted from any of the 'special' woods - yew,oak etc- the circle will take on that colour.

I'm not certain if, to make non-standard 'special' coloured ones, you needed to use a tokuno dye on the wood before you crafted the deed, or if you could use a tokuno dye on the deed before it is first placed and the resulting arcane circle would be that dyed colour. Never tried either with natural stains though, may give that a go later and see what happens.

Edit : Made one in normal wood, could not use a stain on the deed - made one in oak, and was able to use natural stain on the deed and when placed, got a coloured arcane circle that matches the stain colour.

I'll try to use other woods and also i'll try to follow the advices of Aurelius ( many thanks to you :) )

This works the same as any other carpentry item that is created as a deed.
Crafting it in coloured wood takes on the colour of the wood.
Any deed crafted from special wood can be dyed with natural stains or tokuno dyes when new.
Re-deeded items cannot be dyed. :)
