You have, yet again, kept me interested in this game. Its not only our fine UO community that keeps me here; its the endless work that you folks behind the scenes do. Its a 'players' perspective. Its a job that never ends. Its pleasure and pain, that you go thru for us, to keep me (personally) alive in the UO world - comin back and loving UO more than ever! I take my hat (even tho i dont wear hats) off to you! Thank you VERY much for the love!
I love ya back!

...dont ever stop!!!

Eh, I don't have anything to flame them on right now.

*Tries really hard to think of something* :cursing:

*Brain Hurts*

Okay! Fine! You guys are doing a good job. I like the way the direction
the game is moving. I like the way your community EMs are moving.
I like that the bartender at the fair is named Gareth. Mesanna pwns all!
The art looks good. Ughhh.... do you know how hard this is for me?
Customer support is looking up. (If you will excuse me I need to go
flog myself now.)

You can mark this as making two UO players happy. Is this a UO first?

Yes, Kudos on the work you guys have been doing. It really does strike one how much you guys have done when returning players ask what's been going on since they left and you wind up spending hours telling them all the events that have happened. :D

Im giving you a golf clap. Applause might come when truly random encounters occur. When I can wander east and find random adventure. I will stand up and cheer. Ah.. significant adventure that is.

I want to say Thanks and great job Devs. I still love uo after all these years.

I will be here till they shut uo down for good. Which I hope won't be for a very very very very long time.

It's the original game features that keep drawing me back. Some features that have been added over the eyars have been fantastic (custom house design, plants), but there's been a lot of damage. I do give the current team credit for doing what one could describe as "the best one can do" with some things such as the item based inflationary game that AoS brought. Overall, I agree that UO could and should move to more worldly features as you are suggesting.

I'd like to see a lot more mystery and discovery. Not puzzles, mysteries.

Not puzzles, mysteries.
The whole expansion can be viewed as a huge mystery. But the trouble with mysteries is that they only last until people start babbling spoilers (and if you try to avoid spoiling the fun, you get accused of hoarding information). A puzzle can be played many times, a mystery lasts but once.

*adds some applause in hopes of keeping dev spirits up in lieu of sleep during the big push to the release*

*cough* Chessy bank half finished *cough*

:blushing:
It was short but wasn't it sweet UO team? I didn't have one complaint!

The game is going down hill my bank is not done.
The community EMs are being lazy and not doing the bank.
The banker is not named Gareth. Mesanna pwns nothing now!
We need more bank art! *Relaxes*.... do you know how easy this is for me?
Customer support should be working harder on the bank. (If you will excuse me I need to go pat myself on the back now.)

Bah! ;)

I'd recommend that they also place "give me" mysteries to get players into the hunting mood (very easy, with books to give answers them out, just to show it's "in the game"). Do light to heavy mysteries to keep players going. And some really deep stuff that's easy to see there's something there, but very hard to figure out.

*cough* Draconi does the banks in spare time I thought... if so...he has been just a little busy lately...

If I am incorrect in the assumption that Draconi is supposed to do the bank thing during working hours...I could have mis-read that info...then I do apologize.

But I will say I have always loved UO...some times much more than others. And although I haven't been able to get in nearly as much as I would like lately...

UO is likely the best it has ever been for me and my wife, as far as the UI goes...I can't wait until fishing season is over, so I can get back in and really explore!

I do sincerely thank everyone that works on UO at EA/Mythic...Devs, Community Relations, Artists...all of you!! Thanks a lot for sticking with it, through thick and thin!!

I'm sorry, but I don't want to sugar coat and kiss butts here.

The game is nowhere near perfect..hackers run rampant and nothing is done about it, how can you say the direction is great.

I have been gone 5 years, and just now coming back, or considering it, and in just a few days watching things go on, I can see the hackers running rampant, you can't miss it. Everyone tells me GM's, EA, noone, cares or does anything about it. So how could you say a game is going in a good direction when about 75% of the player base is gone because of hacking?

Now maybe this only applies to PvP and Fel, and doesn't affect the Trammel/Malas/etc people?

Anyways, for me it is very discouraging. Banning exploiters would seem to lure peple back...yes it might take a big hit at first when tons of cheaters are banned..but if people know they can play without worry of hackers..they would come back.

My comment was kind of 'tongue-in-cheek' I guess. I was just goading Gareth a little, for fun.

UO is the game that I haven't quit. I like and appreciate what the current dev team is doing and has done lately. Keep up the good work!

:danceb:

p.s. as far as I know Draconi does the banks... I'll allow him this distraction... for now... :D
