Apparently there's a bug where you lose pets

Did anybody experience something similar?

I was in a dungeon tonight, my pet died, I died. When I got resurrected, my pet was gone. I re-logged and it was still gone. It also wasn't in the stable. So where the hell is it?

[Edit: Ok, it reappeared after I re-logged in my house. Problem solved.]

I know there is a bug that makes your pet take off in a bee line. and makes your follower slots 0, until you find it that is. did you search all over the Dungeon? I died in Ice at the rats once, and this happened. I went looking around and found my Wyrm all the way up at the entrance to the room where the death gate is. When he popped on my screen, my follower count went back to 2.
