Anything NEW with GM Trick or Treat?

I got the masks and did that this weekend. I did a bit of trick or treat and didnt getting much.

I saw posts that said nothing new but someone mentioned a ghost in a chair.

Figured Id ask if there was anything before wasting time.

99%chance he meant a chair in a ghost costume that came out with last years holloween, also heard that the black and orange webs are back as well.

Could someone please explain in slow, old people talk, about how begging relates to the Trick or Treat?

Like does high begging just get you better things when trick or treating? Or do you have to use the begging skill?

Funny.. all these years in UO I've never worked begging on any of my characters.

I did buy a pitcher of water aquired by begging once though.. still have it. It caught my eye when I was vendor hopping one day.

But I do want the Ghost in the Chair so any help?

In short, yes Ludes. Begging is required for the coolest items. I have not tried just begging.

 

[Flutter]

Your chance at getting cooler items goes up as your begging goes up.
You can still get something cool with no begging but it will take MUCH longer (more trick or treats) than if you have GM.

Harvest Wine
Skulls on Pikes
Excellent Iron Maiden

This is my first year doing it, so can't compare lists as easily.

Everything I've seen so far is the same as the trick or treating from last year. I had really hoped to see some new ones. Perhaps as the month progresses we will. Right now, we are just getting all the old 'candy' that the npcs had from last year. Yuck.

my first year gm begging i can confirm chair in ghost costume grim warning, skulls on pike, mr plains cookies, creepy cake, murky milk, orange n black webs, halloween guillotine, harvest wine, excellent iron maiden, pumpkin pizza.
