Anyone tried VS?

I have 2 characters now with grayed out VS options on LA. I entered search, kicked it off and got nothing but the "wait ..." screen. I'm figuring it's down but haven't seen any notice. The VS options are gray because I canceled the wait screen and that's my punishment.

How is it on your shard?

ADDED: Just went in and the VS option is normal but invoking it promptly invokes the prior search. <sigh>

It has been slow for a few days. All shards!

But it turns off for about 10 mins every once in a while. It will be grey on one shard and not on others. That's prob why grey.

It is active on LS and Origin right now

okay. so it's having a spasm right now and I just need to wait it out. got it.

Looking for a small soulforge because the large one takes so much space ... and going to ter-mur all the time is a PITA.

Yeah I tried searching on Monday I think it was.. on a DEAD shard... and it took forever... then said my search was too vague or some such... then when I tried to narrow it and try again it grayed out... but then a while later it just popped up finally... when I tried to close it.
