anyone seen a GM last couple days?

i did a x shard from ATL to sonoma 2 days ago right before ATL went server down for regular maintenance.

went to log in last night and it said it was still waiting for the x-shard to go, which was strange since i was allready on sonoma with that guy for a day.

waited another day.
went to log in, still cant, but the gump says to page a GM is this is taking too long.
so i did.
sat there for 2 hours last night waiting for a GM.
nothing.

logged in this am before work.
waited for a hour.
no GM.

home now for lunch.
been waiting a hour.
no GM.

4 hours now, no GM.

I had this happen to me awhile ago (Did an xfer right before server on Drach).

The GM had to ask a Supervisor or Dev how to fix it, but they did pretty fast.

Had a GM answer a plea for help two days back, got to us within the hour if that info's any use to you. Was on Siege and they made us answer a riddle before they fixed the issue heh.

Figure YOU are the ONE GM for all shards that has to be on while the others are at the 15th party LOL

Oddly I had this same problem myself yesterday, couldn't get on Atlantic because there was a character transfer being processed (haven't done a transfer since February btw).
It's been like that for a while but never had the free time to sit around waiting for a GM, until yesterday.
I called a GM and got a response in about 10 minutes, took a further 30 minutes to figure out the problem and solve it.
This was on Oceania.

well they finally showed up.
same as mentioned above, the GM had to go get a supervisor to figure it out, but finally they got it.

now, am i the only one that thinks its strange that the gump actually says "go to another shard and page a GM if you continue to get this message", then when i do just that they at first have NO idea what im talking about and ask me to call billing, then after i make them figure it out they have to go get a supervisor to do it.

i just found it strange.

its not like when im at work on the ambulance and we tell people to call 911, i dont show up and tell them they have called the wrong number and tell them to call Parks and Recreation instead, THEN i call someone else to walk me through what my job is.

i just found it strange.

but, alas, i can log back in and at the end of the day i am happy once more.
