Anyone Having Trouble With UO Auto Map?

Did you check the sticky in the Fisher & Treasurehunter forum?

Whenever i have to build new map files (after each bigger update) i move the sliders to the left as much as possible and hit okay. Then it doesnt create new files. It still shows floating emporium. When i do not move the sliders it crashes upon hitting the "ok" button. Updates on files don't work either.

if i load uoassist (not paid) mine works fine.
right click the icon and check the 2 places to mark it as run as administrator.

are you getting an error when it tries to download the files?

after *pissing and moaning* about this same problem for months, i finally got mine working this weekend. (tried cartographer and it kept bugging out my uo).

What i did: updated uoassist. unzipped the uoam files and copied into folder (this might not be necessary as the new names say copy or something). right clicked the icon and ran as administrator. and if that is all i needed to have done (right click and ran as administrator im going to be pissed again since Dog never told me to try that!)

while trying to figure it out...i was looking at the new asian updated uoam and was going to dl it with updates, it allows you to see the new SA lands etc. but im paranoid and didnt. it was posted on uhall in a thread about someone's new boat. has anybody downloaded it and used it? any problems?

I havn't tried the japanese "full" version with all the new maps for the same reasons you got. I won't download a strangers software ....

there are 2 spots to check run as administrator.
on security tab > advanced button
on compatiblity tab
