Anyone else having Movement Problems?

Ever since the last patch, my character's have been moving really wierd. Like last night when i was on my Tamer/Mage killing Cu Sidhes, i was lead taming one and all of a sudden i couldn't move at all, i kept turning my char in different directions to try to run, thinking i got stuck on rock in the Twisted Weald Desert, but i couldn't move, got killed by the Cu Sidhe, and the instant i died, i was able to walk around again. Also lately, i'll be running and all of a sudden stop, like i smacked into a wall or something, and my char will start running again. Plus i was stealthing around in Fel, went to go hop on my Ethy Llama to attack someone, and the instant i hopped on the Ethy my char moved over one tile and came out of Hiding/Stealth.

Sometimes I just get stuck and then bounce forward. This just started happening since the patch. 2D client. I kept thinking it was just lag but it keeps happening and it is always exactly the same.

I had the problem once a few days before the patch while mining (right as I spawns a blackrock elem, so you can guess what happened shortly afterwards to both my miner and my beetle). Had to use the Help I'm Stuck feature to get out of it.

Have not had it happen since patchurday last week though.

In KR BTW.

Yeah, I've been kinda rubber-banding around the place, I thought it was me. Glad others are having the same probs.

I've been rubber banding like crazy since the patch. Very annoying and I'm also glad it's not just me. I thought I was going crazy.

Yes. I didn't think much about it the first day but it has persisted.

Notice it more when on foot. Walking or running. It's not overwhelming but it is definitely noticeable and bothersome. Sometimes it's worse than others but it's there for sure.

I did start with the last patch. I hope they get it fixed soon.

edit: This is in 2d. Just patched KR last night and haven't tried it there.

I also experience some rubberbanding in the 2D client since the last patch. It doesn't happen very often though, and I cannot reproduce it as it happens randomly.

Ok, I just logged in and found a way to consistently reproduce this rubberbanding.

Run at full speed, with the curser far away from your character. Dead stop. And then when you start again, walk. Put the curser close to your character and walk.That stutter step will happen every time. Hope this helps to fix it.

Yes I noticed this right away! It's most apparrent while walking, every once in a while your dude just bounces back. Wonder what in the world is up with that.

I get the same problem but only on 1 of my 4 accounts.
Well actually only on 1 char i believe. It's riding an ethereal Llama but i doubt that means anything :p

This guy is just plain spamming the same message on multiple threads to get his Post Count up. Isn't that frowned upon by the Stratics Admins and they can remove those posts?

Yes, ive been having moving problems too.I write a post about it the other day.
I would be running then slow to walk and the screen would like jerk a little, also goes funny somtimes when i ride then turn direction.

Yeah I don't know what everyone is talking about I haven't had this happen to me since the patch or prior to it...

I have this also. I thought it was due to some sort of lag but I think this more accurately describes what's happening. It's occuring on all of my chars on two accounts.

I've died several times to this now, especially on a char I'm training new skills on. I was fighting ogre lords last night and couldn't always run away to heal. I was just stuck standing there and couldn't move. Also I noticed that when I killed one it would fall to the ground and I would hear my sword hit it after it was down.

KR is doing it too. I can run for abot ten steps then stop...then I can move again but will stop at another ten steps. Its really consistant.

Not so much rubber-banding but total boot out of the game...it just shuts off and leaves me staring and the desktop screen...usually when I've just entered into a fray of monsters...LOVELY

Also...some areas I'm getting a "flickering"...you know how when you "almost" have a blackout and the lights dim and flicker but don't go out? Then everything is back to norm again...weird
