Anyone else had/have this problem?

Hi,

We trying to make a Alliance on Drachenfels. But when i try to request a Alliance i'm getting the message my guild is involved in a war. In the 10 years we are on Drachenfels our guild never been in any war. I have no way to remove any war status in the diplomacy menu. The guild status on Guildpage shows clearly no war.

I can't remove this war status that is not even real but because of this i can not make a Alliance.


Anyone else have a problem with making alliances?

Perhaps someone is trying to declare war on you and you have to reject it first? Check the Show all guilds awaiting action and see if anything shows up.

I'm no programmer, but it really seems that the message could be different for "you are in a war" vs. "someone else wants to war you" instead of using the same message for both.

Would clear up a lot of confusion methinks.

If no one told me to check awaiting action in advanced option i would never been able to see this problem.

There should be a message to the guildleader that a guild wants a war with you each time he logs in. Like this the guildleader can refuse or accept it right away.

I never expected that 2 guilds ask for a war if i was not pointed to it.

Aye, I have had the same problem in the past. On Cats some folks create a guild for PvP and then send out highlight requests to all the top warring guilds on the shard without checking to find out they are mostly rp guilds not PvP guilds. When it hasn't been communicated to me that someone has requested a highlight, I didn't know for the longest time to check the awaiting action page.
