Anyone else getting DC'ed?

Keep getting DC'ed at Lurg. One second I'm there and everything fine, next second I'm DC'ed and log back in dead. Been going on for a few days, I don't get it. Good ping, good connection, it just randomly drops. Anyone else having issues?

Yup, same here last night while in Khaldun.

It's driving me nuts! Gift of life doesn't seem to work if I get booted, so I log back in dead (sometimes pet dead too), have to run for 10min to find a healer, rez my pet, run back and by that time mobs already looted me. At least put healers closer to dungeons. This is making me want to quit!

Make an ej account and gm magery. Park that character near where you are hunting.... I have a character that has vet healing and magery I use to do that.

I guess I'll have to try that. Just frustrating that I need 2 accounts to hunt! Plus I loose my gift of life spell on DC.

Agree completely. Unfortunatly UO can be a game of work arounds at times!

ive noticed when ever there is a pub coming/stuff on test center, is when I have issues. when pub is release, problems seem to go away or greatly improve.

Lots of lag on atlantic lately and some random crashes. Probably due to the fact everyone plays atl cause the game is dead everywhere else!!!!! Such a shame its come to this.

I just got it and it ain't normal. I've been customizing my house and not moving much. I just went to Haven and got some commodity deeds and SJ'd back home. Dead stop after 1 step.

I can't recall ever having this happen ... not in a very long time. This was on LA.

It's been happening to me since the client patch in August prior to the release of the publish for the anny gifts and the start of the events.

I'm relying on years of problem analysis and I had this thought.

All these disconnects just started for the most part within the last 2 to 2-1/2 months, right? Soooo, what happened in that timeframe ... a couple publishes and the implementation of one more on TC. But the biggie is the keep/castle design stuff ... using a bastardized version of the customization tool. Is that not so?

What if that tool that is in (I imagine) decently heavy usage during this time is causing network fluctuations? And anyone who has dealt in the computing world knows that sometimes the most unlikely thing can be the cause.

@Lord Arm noted that pubs seem to do it to him. @Basara noted it started in August ... about the time castle designs were introduced. I can't pin it down as I don't spend all that much time in-game, but today was not fun.
