Anyone doing the new virtues?

Prior to the 2 new ones, One of my characters had done some of the virtues, Honesty, Sacrifice, Valour and Compassion and had reached the 3rd stage in Honour where it appears to have got stuck. So I tried the Humility Virtue. Years ago I used the Ogre Lords in Despise and the Arctic Ogre Lords to achieve fame (as did many at the time) so I thought as the Arctic Lord spawns singly and has evil alignment I would try there for the Humility Quest. Well Each kill gave me the message 'you have gained in humility' but after some 20 I only have ONE blue dot. This seems to be yet another unnecessary grind if it is right compared with say Compassion where about 3/4 escorts would advance you. Anyone else tried the quest? and how have you found it?. Is there a better place to gain?. If there isn't I cannot see me bothering.

I only bother with valor and justice really. Valor to pop spawns and justice so I can protect and get double the scrolls.

I have honor which seems to have gone up naturally without much effort from just honoring stuff I fight with bushido.

Apart from Compassion which I put on all my chars years ago as it was useful to friends when we did guild hunts I have no particular interest in them and mostly did them on one char cos they were there. Which is why if one is going to be a grind I shall quickly lose interest. I was just wondering if others had tried the new ones and what they were finding.

Try the humility spawn (maybe the other spawns work too I just go to that one) in Ilshenar..I got 6 dots just from the first level..dont forget to say Lum lum lum!

I haven't tried the new ones. My main PVM char is an archer/tamer/chiv. I have 120 taming (103 real + items) but I don't have peacemaking to tame stuff, so I've found honor extremely useful. I've tamed many greater dragons, and every hostile taming creature out there with honor. I usually hunt with a cu sidhe because I can also ride my ethereal at the same time and fight as my char can do a lot of damage. I am definitely planning on raising Humility, to be able to give an HPR boost to my Cu Sidhe would be just great, cause getting close to my pet to heal is very dangerous, as it often triggers the monster to attack me.

Humility is kind of a grind, especially if you're trying to Knight it quickly.

As for what you're killing...think about the virtue...

The two new Virtues are relatively fast to gain, I'd say comparable to Valor.

For Humility the fame of the monster doesn't count, so the quickest way to gain is just to say Lum Lum Lum at the first level of a Champion Spawn. Choose a spawn with no spellcasters in the initial levels like Vermin or Arachnid or Turtle and the resists debuff won't be an issue... When the spawn reaches level 2-3 end the Hunt.
With everyone doing the Turtle spawn non stop, I reached Knight in just 2 days.

Spirituality is also fast to gain. I suppose that you can get to Knight in a short time with a character from a friend/second account to reskill.
I'm doing it the "virtuous" way for now, and I got to Seeker just by ressing people at an EM event
I also toss around heals at spawns but that's much slower for gains.

Humility the best way t raise it, Is by doing the champ spawns lower levels and just kill 2 champs the spawn in level 1 and 2 and you will be Knight.
Spirituality, Just heal and Res everyone you can, Easily done if you heal your GD when fighting.

Doesn't seem to raise at all healing your pet. Don't know if that's as intended or not but I haven't gained at all and I heal my pet with both bandages/vet and magery/Greater Heal all the time.

Does seem to work when I rez or heal other players.

I did my whole Knighthood healing my pet and curing its nox. Rather strange to be honest..... Unless it has been changed, but took me about 45 mins and you are Knight. Used G Heal and Cleansing Winds

We found Cleansing Winds on your pet gives you credit.... nothing else does.

Gift of renewal does and I thought I was gaining with my vet and greater heals also, but wasn't really paying much attention. But I have one Knight of Spirituality.

Malag is now a Knight of Spirituality and I'm working on Humility now.... so far at Seeker. I know Dot Warner did 3 or 4 characters to Knight in all 8 virtues. I'm probably going to work my tamers up with the Humility and Spirituality... but I don't know...
