Its been a few months since I have been on UO or on the forums. WOW is getting boring(its always been boring actually, but, now it's really boring) and I am getting that old itch to play UO again.
Here is the thing, I have played UO for a little over 10 and a half years on and off(mostly on, very little off). Mostly what I enjoy doing is PvP. However, when I deactivated my account in January, PvP was getting old because thier was no new content for it. Lots of other people were leaving UO for WoW each month. Their were less and less people PvPing and eventually a majority of my guild left UO for WoW together. It was fun really for a while...but as you can imagine, their was big fight and everyone kind of went thier separate ways.
So here I am, bored with WoW and not sure if UO is worth coming back to in its current state. I did see that in the past few months that LOTS of patches have gone in. Probably more than I saw in the whole year of 2007 just in the past 2 or 3 months. I did browse over the changes, but I thought I would ask some of the people still playing about the current state of the game.
Again most of my focus is in PvP. How is PvP doing? Is the FOTM templates still making the other templates unplayable? Any new content to promote PvP? Have any devs made and comments about possible changes made to improve PvP? Is their anyone left in Fel on most shard to even PvP a lot with?
Feel free to add info that would pertain to the state of the game and PvP right now... thanks
