Any way to get the Balakai staff for Gargoyles anyway soon?

Most items are alterable into gargoyle version, but at least the staff isnt. Can we please get a way to get or convert the staff?

Same situation with Hawkwind's Robe. They said a gargoyle version of that won't be made until they have appropriate art for it, so I would expect a similar answer for the staff.

Have been looking on vendor search daily for the wand version (that any race can use) that was on test center. Great waste of time, but least now I know. No new art needed for the wand they already have, so either the devs forgot to release the wand or they nixed the idea and have no idea why they don't want gargs to have a -0 mage weapon.
