Any tougher mobs for 2 people to work together on?

Greetings! My brother and I started playing again and wanted to go out and do some hunting of some tougher creatures together. It's only the two of us so I'm assuming things like the Doom Gauntlet would be out of the question. He plays a pure caster [mage/myst] and I play a pure bard.

We're looking for something that might be a bit of a challenge and has above average loot chances for us. We don't mind a longer fight. Are there any peerless bosses that might be doable for 2 classes like that? Any tougher mobs that have more quality drops? Or maybe we should attempt some Paragons?
Not really sure where to start looking.

Thanks!

The Hunter's Guide: http://uo.stratics.com/hunters/index.shtml is a great resource for looking up potential foes. There are several tougher monsters that can be very fun (some don't have great loot, but are still a challenge).

The main question I have is what skill levels are you two at 80s, 100s, etc.? That tells others what you can and cannot do sucessfully. Can you heal each other?

Without knowing the above, I suggest you try dungeon crawling one of the revamped dungeons, such as Shame. The monsters get increasingly tougher the further you go down. There is a variety of monsters and their treasure is pretty good. Paragons are a fun change up from regular monsters, but can be a pain to spawn. You can also try some of the mini-champs in the Abyss, most of them are casters. The goblin mini-champ can be fun with two people. Sometimes my guildmate and I will have a contest as to who can collect the most goblin blood, loser buys dinner.

Don't forget the ML dungeons as well - they tend to be a mix of creatures tougher than the AoS-era stuff, with the occasional named creature or two that drop the ML-specific minor artifacts that the Paragons don't have.

One such dungeon is just south of the hidden valley of the mages outside Trinsic, in the same mountain. It has Troglodytes, which can pose a challenge (Especially in numbers), and the named Troglodyte Lurg, and his named pet bear Grobu. They are great for gold farming (and I think maybe regular leather), but Grobu and the dogs in the cage can mess with your karma (may or may not be an issue for you). Lurg and Grobu can drop ML artifacts.

Once you get tired of those, the Blighted Grove, Twisted Weald and Labyrinth have their own challenges, even without doing their peerless.

These are great tips. Thanks!

I'm going to go check out these places and see what we're capable of handling for now.
