I usually have my mailbox set to anyone so that people can drop off and pick up...or a box would work as well...at my Luna house of course. Can always put them on a vendor for free as well.
Since the bones are worth clean up points, expect griefing.
We yell out in chat the names of what we find. If you want your bones we yell in chat to look for them.

On lake austin i have 4 chest set up for people to donate and pick up. It is at our historic library next door to the player center. I also drop books and announce in chat what we have. This will be the third time we have done it. Very little problems with griefing. We pretty much know everyone or their guild.
