so I swear I read you can fort an antique item... but you can't. I have a bracelet I am using and it was 100/100 now down to 39/39 and I can't do anything to repair it. Any ideas?

That's because you can't use PoF on Jewelry, regardless of which negatives it has. you can't PoF jewelry at all, even if it's clean.
