Another IDOC (with the same difference)

Well,

The last one went ok, a few teething troubles, but lessons learned. (http://vboards.stratics.com/showthread.php?t=190055)

Another planned IDOC, but this time somewhere in Tram.

The house will be dropped at 21:00 (UK) on Tuesday 20th April.

Not telling you where this one is apart from it's in Trammel somewhere. The design is possibly unique, so a few minutes running about you should find it (thanks to Trev for pointing out the plot).

This time, I intend to "Resize my House" so no-one can place for 1 hour (fingers crossed), but the contents should still drop.

Again, this plot will contain HEAVY chests (great if your after lumber!). Spread amongst these chests will be a scattering of 1,000,000 cheques, A single BRK, Arties, Marties, SE Arties, Semi Rares, Old items, Heritage tokens, Stone Frags, Nice Armour and Weaps, Vet rewards etc

At least 50% of the chests will hold something worth while, and may I remind you the chests are heavy, so bring a packy / Beetle if you require.

Oh they'll attend... I certainly will as I've already located the house, having ran about looking for a Greater Chicken for someone on a whim... but most casual playing people seem to have shifted to going for the Abyss housing quest to get the cloaks and talismans it seems, and those who are professional IDOCers have always kept quiet about locations so as not to tip others off and thus have to share the loot. But I think at the designated time, you'll see the moongates open up, and the hoards of packies come through...

I'm afraid I'm not going to make it. Real life has me up to my eyes at the moment. I'm trying to make myself some new clothes, in between all the normal seasonal work here and minding neighbours toddler since she's poorly and so is her other half.

Well, it went better than the last one!!

Sorry no chests full of Arties / Bless Deeds / BRK's, I can't afford it!!!

But I hope you all got something worth while.


I will plan the next one in about a month (need more logs!!)


Again, if anyone has any 1/2 decent items they could donate, it would be greatly appreciated.


Next IDOC may even will have twists, maybe a treasure hunt, a lottery, a larger plot (wouldn't risk a castle, but maybe a keep - if I can find one!)

Thanks for organising this.

I wasn't lucky enough to get anything interesting, but it was lots of fun and I appreciate all the hard work you had to do to set this up.

I was there as I stated I would be, and from my perspective the mechanics of the event were much improved; even with 3 pack animals, the best you could do was load 3 chests before having to compete normally... two different approaches seemed to then occur; some were looking in the chests directly, other's like me were axing them to reveal what was inside. Axing was probably the worst option as people standing about would then cover what dropped behind their bodies...

I got a Pumpkin Lantern, A Crystal Token, Scroll Of Alacrity - Begging (15mins), unveiled a Powder of Fortification which I kept dropping as I needed to navigate closer due to all the chests, but eventually got as no one seemed to notice it was there... and finally some white-ish sandles, which I'm pretty sure someone just dropped themselves right at the end of the event. Curious!

Over all it was fun, but again over very quickly, and few people stayed to chat at the end, which was a disappointment!
