Come one, come all!
The first ever Wispwood Wacky Fightnight!!!!!
Starting at 8 PM EST on Friday November 18th, you will be dazzled. You will be entertained. You will be splattered with blood!
Wispwood Wacky Fightnight will be display incredible bouts of single or tag team combat. There will be few rules, and lots of twists.
Entries may be submitted in this thread (the more dramatic the better), or at the event. As things will be hectic at the event, here is prefered. THERE IS NO ENTRY FEE!
The Rules:
1) No field spells, No wildfire. (Other persistent area of effect spells may be considered for removal)
2) No pets, mounts, or summons
3) No leaving the ring
3) All other items and tactics are allowed. This includes wands, potions, chairs, hiding (anyone present may reveal), stealing during the fight (it is expected that non-consumable items are returned after...see looting below), gouging, biting, bloodsucking, hair pulling, and all other manner of creative tactics.
The Twists:
1) All entrants must have Stage names and costumes. These names will be announced with much pomp and circumstance prior to each fight.
2) 10 Points will be awarded in each bout. 5 points go to the winner of the bout (or winning team). 3 points go to the person or team who fight with the most style and sticks to the role of their costume. 2 points go to the person or team with the most original costumes worn while fiighting. The last two items will be voted on by a panel of 3 judges.
3) Breaking any of the rules above will automatically grant the other person or team the 5 points for winning the bout.
4) Looting fallen entrants is grounds for immediate removal from the ring and forfetiure of all prizes and future bouts.
5) A referee will be in the ring during the fight. He will most likely get in the way, and make bad calls, but can be mostly ignored. He cannot cast any spells or assist in the fight. Any entrant inadvertantly killing the referee (I.e. with area spells) will be awarded 10 points, but beware, if the referee is hit by an area spell, he might accidentally swing and damage the contestant before he can react.
6) Any ties will be decided by the referee. Any 10 point winners (i.e. all three point awards) will be granted an on the spot check for 10,000 gold.
7) The ultimate winner for the night will be decided by the judges based on entertainment factor and prowess in the ring. That person or team will be awarded A check for 500,000 gold and other possible goodies. The referee will also be authorized to hand out smaller awards to entrants and/or spectators based on criteria only he is privy to. (see picture of referee below).
8) At the discrection of the Referee and the audience, a bout may be set into sudden death. If this happens, those fighting will be asked to stop. They will then flag grey if not so already. Then the fight begins again Mages in the audience may then cast field spells in the ring at their discretion. The last standing will be the winner of the 5 points for the fight itself. Note, the referee will be conspicuously absent during this sudden death period.
To find Wispwood: The event will be held in the Dueling Pit in Auraglade.
