I don't think it bypasses the anger cycle so yeah, I'm sure if you got unlucky it'd drop before you started taming. But if you hold down your tame last target key constantly while close enough to the critter, you should find you can get a tame attempt off fairly soon. Never used it myself, but I'm sure someone more experienced will say if I'm right or wrong ;)

so there is no cooldown between failed tame attempts due to angering? which means i can spam my tame button until i get the tame attempt started and theres no wait time between anger cycles right?

i mean when i use peace to tame cu sidhes for example it could take me 30+ attempts to get a taming attempt which i normally fail..and this takes like 15 min, if honor only lasts like a few min and i need to get that many attempts in to get 1 tame attempt how would honor taming work at all? unless of course the taming skill is spammable but i wouldnt know because i normally have to run away a bit when i anger while peace taming

Wench is right

Spam tame

Anger still happens but it will not bite you just keep spaming tame untill you start to tame it 50/50 you tame a critter before your honor wears out usually i just lead greater dragons to destard front door and go out invis self then honor walk in and spam tame 50/50 i get the dragon or honor wears off and i get ate.

so basically i can keep clicking my tame button as fast as i can while honored consecutively and get tame attempts in? theres no wait time between angering the pet before i can try taming again then i assume?

No wait time at all, I just hold the key down constantly and concentrate on keeping a safe distance till the tame attempt starts. I just use a macro for use skill taming then last target. I usually lore the beast first to set it as my last target and see how good it is, then spam my tame key.

The message will say "You have angered the Beast" (Standard anger message).

But because your Honored, NOTHING that is NOT ALREADY aggro'd on you will go to the aggro state. Meaning nothing will attack you.

You ask if it bypass's ... I would say it prevents any non aggro'd mob from taking any aggressive action as long as the Honored Flag is set. Any Aggro'd mob will be excluded (can only happen because the mob was aggro'd on you before you honored yourself, thus will remain aggro'd after you honor yourself).

Once the Honor expires, it will turn gray, it will turn on you, it will kill you.

There is a 5 Minute Cool Down timer on the ability to Honor Yourself.

Select your target, Invis, Honor yourself, get cose and cozzy to the target and spam the daylights of a tame last target (better be the Pet to be) hotkey.

To try to be a bit clearer.

Mob A is aggro'd (Aggro = attacking) on you.
Mob B is NOT aggro'd.

You Honor yourself.

Mob A stays Aggro'd on you.
Mob B will NOT become aggro'd until Honor has expired.

How to get Mob A off you ... Invis, hide what ever. Now Mob A is no longer aggro and will not go to the aggro state until Honor has expired.

Also...
Use invis or stealth to checkout prospective pets. Only use Honor for taming.

Make a macro (in 2D not sure of KR macro) like this:

use skill: animal taming
wait for target
last target

that last line might be "target last", i forget. You can mash down the key this macro is assigned to and it will spam up your screen with anger messages until you manage to get a successful tame off. Also you can mash down with left hand and use the mouse to run around at the same time with the right hand (or vice versa for lefties). Make sure to get the dragon on last target first, use lore on it or a pair of scissors or whatever.

If you aren't doing destard (I prefer fire temple myself) monsters are on a 10 second aggro timer for the most part. Honor has a gump that pops up then an "ok" window that is really irritating. First I'll drag the dragon off a ways so it's alone, run off and invis myself. Then I will move my healthbar up to the top left corner of the window where the honor gump will pop up, then I'll pre cast invis and run over to the dragon. As soon as it targets me I'll cast invis on myself, and immediately move off the tile that I was on (just take a step). This is to avoid the dragon revealing and re-aggroing. Now I have 10 seconds to honor myself before it will agro on me again. If it manages to poison you before you have invis'd then run off, cure, invis, and pre-cast invis again and run back in.

It's super easy with honor, of course the downside is having to *get* enough honor that it lasts through a few taming attempts.

In KR the macro is even easier -
Create Macro with Taming Icon, set to current target
Repeat 10 times
Assign your hot key

KR won't let you repeat any macro by holding the key down, but it will automatically repeat up to 10 times. This works very well for taming. If that isn't enough, you can put multiple taming commands in the macro and then repeat 10 times. KR will let you interrupt a macro with another macro or escape-key and not get an error - 2D and UO Assists have problems with interrupting macros.

As far as getting enough honor for your tamer, the fastest way I've found (and I am sure there are others) is killing succubus in the Fan Dancer DoJo. I use a cu sidhe with discord and can't even loot fast enough! Honor (and karma for turning over the cu sidhe spawn) is maxed pretty quickly.
