It's awesome except I don't like the swirly font.

Its cool, but kind of hard to read and im not sure I like how all the islands are in boxes and stuffed into the corner.

Good idea, but yeah... dodgy font and all the islands thrown into the bottom corner makes it kinda weird. Shoulda been bigger so all the islands appeared in the appropriate places, imo.

I like it! as a piece of fan-art its awesome, personally I think the font is fine, it is after all an "ancient" map so the font would be expected to be swirly, plus the islands are fine in boxes since the mainland is the main focus, its not unheard of for old RL maps to do exactly that . I dont think this map was created to actually be used for navigation so I think it can get away with not putting islands in their proper place . Great find

I don't ever remember the Hedge Maze being called a labyrinth though - even before we had the actual Labyrinth dungeon.

It's interesting Fire Isle is called Hithloth? Not sure bout that but it's pretty cool. and I agree I like Fan Art. I like how it even has the serpent pillars.

On actual sea charts, islands and notable coastal areas are often shown at a larger scale.
Though the islands are still in place on the map, a box is drawn around them in the appropriate scale to correspond.

Hythloth was located on the southern end of The Isle of the Avatar originally.. then in Ultima IX they moved it to New Magincia.
UO of course has slightly different history.
