Since the bug on summons was taken care of and Ahu posts gave me an idea I would like to throw out some thoughts on them.
When Ahu made the comment in another thread how mages just throw EV's and invis and basically rinse and repeat I came up with these ideas.
Here are the summons and EV's just for the skill magery. Since EV's and blade spirits cant be controlled they are really not a summon.
- Summon Air Elemental
- Summon Earth Elemental
- Summon Fire Elemental
- Summon Water Elemental
- Summon Daemon
- Energy Vortex
- Blade spirits
With the changes in the dungeon shame and "possible future changes" in others dungeons, in my opinion they should make certain levels of dungeons have more uses for summons then just casting EV's.
Like in Modain Legacy if I recall a certain boss( sorry the name has slipped my mind) you cant cast EV's on him. So why don't the devs use that system and make certain new creatures invunerable to certain summons but are weak from other summons.
I will just make up some crazy example.
The devs create a new creature in deceit and the air elemental and EV's cant damage them but can also replenish their health if casted. The caster though can use earth elemental spell and fire elemental spell which the mob is weaker to and causes more damage.
Just basic ideas that came to my head and I only used magery spells as an example. Kind of mixes things up a bit. Plus maybe make blade spirits useable again on certain new monsters in dungeons or the lands.
