I think that all of the gains that were made in terms of the economy with regard to the Magincia lottery, and whatever the big thing was before that that removed so much gold from the game, were completely reversed.

I don't think it was just sot's that were duped, it was anything that could be transformed into something else, and probably even a lot of stuff that couldn't, but especially stuff that can be broken down and changed into something else, that includes sots, cheques, powerscrolls, Abyss resources, etc. etc.

I think the only people that we've "caught" at it are the people that have been stupid about it, and I think they were just the tip of the iceberg. From what I understand the value of gold has dropped like a stone since the period of time when all that duping was going on, and that's a good indication that the duping that went on was on an absolutely huge scale.

I'll just say it again, I think this was the biggest, and most destructive duping issue in the history of the game, and all kinds of people profited hugely from it, not just the people that did the duping. I'll go so far as to say that this single duping bug has created entirely new classes of haves and have nots in the game.

And so far we've seen extremely limited action on it, and I have no confidence whatsoever that they are even going to bring any kind of justice to even 1/10th of 1% of the perpetrators involved.

I know of one person who was "caught", and from what I hear he had so many duped items on so many different, unlinked accounts, that when he lost an account and billions worth of items and gold, it was barely even a hiccup to him.
