alter item (gargoyle)? /gargoyle armor ?'s

i didn't play beta at all. this is on all my different crafting gumps now. i take it you can alter non-gargoyle items into gargoyle-wearable stuff. is this a reversible process or cancel-able? what items can you alter? i've tried some doom arties, m-arties, reading glasses, human and elf armor(enhanced), and virtue dungeon loot, none of it alterable.

now, gargoyle armor: is there no footwear, gloves or head wear that a gargoyle can don? are tinkered necklaces the only thing to wear around the neck? is 30 total resist points the max i'm stuck with on a neck piece? i did some seareching, and could not find this info anywhere. thanks for any and all replies.

You can alter the Armor of Fortune to fit a gargoyle and that's about all. Other items should be possible but there were issues with graphics, develpers still working on it.

Pendant of the Magi is the standard neckpiece.

I found 2 good pairs of earrings on higher level monsters, one was Niporailem (in the Tomb of Kings). Not much resists but they each had 4 mid level magery mods.

Don't forget the shield slot.

I went hog wild with LRC and my gargoyle went up to 142 LRC.
