Im an trying to figure out the maximum luck I can have minus using the lucky statue. Ill add that later.

Where's the best place to find up to date info.

Okay I found luck calculater but I guess a better question is items. What items?

The only thing it's missing is the 110 Luck shields from Shame. So just add 30.

Jaana's Staff is 220 luck (mw -20, spell channelling no penalty, 15%DCI).

That's better than swords of prosperity, but you can probably get a one hander to 140 and shield with 110 luck for 250 total instead.

My suit I use in combat in shame. Gives me Max Resists on physical and fire. and decent on the rest

Now if you add in Bushido and Honor and all that for max of 1000 (which I dont have yet)

I would have 3550 luck with a boost of 93% to loot.

Forgive my ignorance on the subject... but how do you get perfection from honor, for the 1k luck, on anything but a dexer?

i currently run a sampire with 1310 luck and a tamer with 2000 luck pre statues/etc.

Throwing weapons imbue to 120 luck which can be enhanced to 160. Much easier then the luckblade if you have a garg.

But a garg cannot get all that other stuff, like the mempo, armor of fortune, etc.

Well its long and drawn out but you can read it under bushido in stratics.

But basically you hit HONOR virtue and with 100 bushido with 10 hits you gain a max of 1000 luck. It is only good for that opponent. You cant use archery.

It scaled down for less then 100 in Bushido.

Thats what i mean... i understand the 10 hits, but alot of people talk about honoring stuff with their max luck suit, and these people are tamers, mages, etc.

They probably use something similar to what I do..

Takes some skills on jewels however, with those stats you can send a GD in as a meat shield and then jump in using Bushido. Max damage output from you plus 1000 in luck. Sometimes critters switch onto you but that's why you have feet and invisible potions

The build has a few drawbacks, however I find it pretty successful.

*On a side note durability of the new shame loot is taken out of the equation using this type of build since your GD is taking the damage and not you. I have a mage suit that has puts me at 210 mana with 24 mana regen 20 sdi 36 LMC and 10 LRC using pieces I already had plus some great pieces from the new shame loot. Never played a pure mage, however I'm raising my eval to see how much damage output I can do with this suit. With my GD acting as shield of course

Well i made a suit for my tamer not long ago, and i think its the best suit i can make with high luck and ubber suit.

Resists : 81/70/70/70/74 (high phy for protection)

template :

magery 100
taming 120
ani. lore 120
veterinary 120
music 120

meditation 120

TOTAL = 820 in skills

Mods :

DCI 25
LUCK 1420
LMC 40
MI 23
MR 15
LRC 100

The only thihing i miss is the FCR 6, but i use magic almost for invis , recall and greater heal so is not a big deal.

Personally, I do not find the extra 1,000 Luck points worth the worse suit (worse in the sense that to max Luck AND add in skills to achieve perfection, one has to sacrifice other skills and mods......).

I mean, even without perfection one gets good stuff a good chunk of the time with a better tailored template for the fight. Why bother messing up with skills and armor just to raise a little the chance to get a good item ?

I may well be wrong, but I do not see it much worth it..........
Just keep the hunting going a little longer and eventually, even without the extra 1,000 Luck from perfection, one will still get a good share of good items.
