Ally non-faction guild to faction guild?

Is it possible to ally a non-faction guild to a faction guild? And if so what if the non-faction guild is already part of an alliance?

We have people who want to join faction on their reds but also play them with the rest of the guild and allies and an alliance would make this so much easier.

I think it may answer your question and provides some important additional information you should be aware of in case you do manage to figure out how to do an alliance and any of the characters in the non-faction guilds play in Fel.

Some guilds which were allied before the publish a few months ago retain their faction and non-faction guild alliance. I don't know why this was taken out, it discourages faction participation when you have to choose between playing a faction or non-faction character.
