Greetings!

It is our pleasure to announce the release of Publish 69.5 to all shards today. At 2:00PM EST all servers will be brought offline for the update, we anticipate the shards to be back online by 5:00PM EST.

I wonder if this is a sign that Origin has lost its status as a "test shard" or if skipping an Origin publish is just another EA money-saving shortcut.

Or it's just a small publish and they haven't had or heard of any problems from Test Center.

And claims it posted here at 5M, almost an hour and a half before the timestamp on my post .... so why wasn't it visible, since I sure as hell looked VERY hard before I posted anything?

Edit : Solved, thanks to Kelmo for explaining what happened - apparently the Herald feed needed mod approval for the post, so it didn't show as it should for the rest of us.

I would hate to think that they just....forgot.

It's a bit frightening either way.

Oh well, we shall see how it goes.

I wonder if there is anything else in the publish, specifically anything storyline-related, that hasn't been announced, or just the Bells and ships. (I count the ship as storyline-related because technically-speaking they have a place in the fiction: Dawn commissioned them to secure Britannian naval dominance. She didn't want to be outdone by the gargoyles and orcs and Tokunoese, I guess, and she did mention using them to eventually besiege Magincia. I recognize that, of course, the storyline is not the boats primary purpose)
