[Price Check] All Armor/Weapons PRIOR to the 73, 75 and 86 Publishes' changes are now considered Rares ? What are they worth ?

As it is known, the 17 Nov, 2011 Publish 73 and then the Publish 75 followed by the July 21, 2016 Publish 86, have changed the way that items spawn.

Now, they are either tagged as Minor, Lesser, Greater, Major Magic Items OR as Lesser, Greater, Major and Legendary Artifacts.

Question.
As a result of these changes, does one need to conclude that any and all Weapons and Armors that spawned previous to those Publish changes and, therefore, is not tagged as the new Armor and Weapons now spawn since those Publishes are to be considered as Rares ?

If so, do they now hold a Rares' Value and what is it ?

Does it vary depending on the type of older Armor or Weapon ?
