Alchemy again. Was long time ago i was lobing for it.

The curent system is not alchemy frendly.
Curent EP cap is ok, but as GM alch you should be able to have more.
The timer on purple pots should also be reduced for GM alchemists.


Sugestion
Gm alchemists can have

EP 75
5 sec timer on G-heal pots
1 sec casting time instead of 3 sec on purplepots

This would defenetly make so alchemy is a skill to have in pvp and pvm.

It seems that explosion potions should explode on contact. Though, I'm not sure that would be feesable... for balance reason...

Problem whit EP so far has only been for g-heals.

Purple pots cost way more than any spell or arrow and as now you can do as most 27 damage. A poter is also vonrebel to thieves wich i cant say ano other player is. So there is counters to it.

I was under the impression that the current cap for E.P is 50 with 0 alchemy and it goes up 10 for every 33 points of alchemy... meaning at 99 alchemy the cap is 80.

That is only for purple pots and i think it is 10 EP on purple pots for gm alch.
Still the casting timer needs to lower on gm alch.

The diffrence in pot tossing to others is that it cost way more, the time it takes to cast it and that it cant be cancled. Which in last case will damage you self.


If you are right im backing of on the EP bonus for gm becous we alredy gets it. If it is on all types of pots.

That is why i want to shorter the timer for gm. whit 1 sec you dont need to direct hit, becous the pot has area damage.

Ah found it, I think it was bought in with the 'big pvp fix publish'...

Near the bottom of that page it says:

Enhance Potions - This property increases the effectiveness of potions used by the wearer by a percentage. Enhance Potion from items is now capped at 50. Player characters with Alchemy skill receive an inherent bonus to Enhance Potion that can exceed this cap. The bonus to Enhance Potion equates to +10% for every 33 points of Alchemy (i.e., 80% at GM Alchemy).

&amp; last updated 22nd Feb 08.

Prior to that fix publish I had a character using alchemy and 120 e.p and it was great fun but it was no longer viable after for a number of reasons (not just to do with the e.p change).

Someone once told me there was a cap of 100 e.p (before the fix) but that was only for beneficial pots, as g explosions did have a noticeable damage difference.

Yep! The last time I got my time down, I had to target just before the '1' count displayed. If the timer was only 1 second, i could never target in time.

If Exp pots were guarenteed hits, their dmg would have to be nerfed, I think. The dmg is nice now, but it's no guarentee, except for rooted MObs(is that an oximoron?).

Stackable pots makes bombing more viable now, though.

GE pots do cost alot more, considering spell need no regs now.

Top damage against 70 resist would be like 35. That is not much cosider how hard it is to time a pot or the backfir if you hold it to long.
