Do these work with shield in hand?

i tried them and it didnt seem like it was working for me. I'm gargoyle and shield in hand while wearing the alchemist Devestion and i didnt notice them going off 120 wrestling and 45 hci.

Indeed they are 100% useless... nice I guess for a deco item.

I wouldn't call them useless. They are a Mage arm piece with FCR 3 and MR 4. I've got a pair I use on a Garg Mage. I would like the hit spell to work with a shield too.

I run these on a necro wrestle mage with a book in hand. Pretty sick, just need the right gear to make it happen. All I know is getting a corpse skin off then a stun, explode, flamestrike, supernova painspike combos is pretty nasty.

Being able to stun while chasing someone down to dismount them isnt bad either.
