nope i think. The mine follow me in a ghost form before i raise it.

That's right. If it dies, it will become a ghost which can still follow you if you command it to. Then you can get it ressed if you have or can find someone with 70 vet and 70 taming skill.

On the same token though... since it is summoned, I believe they can be dispelled so be careful. Several people have had that happen to summoned mounts and such or has that been fixed?
