An archer shoots at me from the woods.
Dang. I get hit. Nice damage. Nice battle.
I close in on him or her.
We are now in sword range.
I can actually smack him in the back of the head, hes so close.
Why wouldnt this happen with a bow or related.
We are fighting hand to hand distance, melee.
*he pulls out arrow*
I snatch it
*he pulls out arrow again*
I snatch it
Still fighting hand to hand distance
*he pulls out arrow*
I grab his bow string and dont let go
I smack him with my sword
Just wondering why archery works with 1 or 2 spaces. I think all the archery tweaking isnt really needed if you decrease its effectiveness in tile to tile fighting.
I have a warrior that has archery and swords.
He should use archery as range attack
and swords for hand to hand
Just wondering why he can stand with monsters on him and shoot arrows?
Maybe devs could look at weapon dimensions a bit differenlty?
