After confirmation on set armor pieces dropping

I thought the set armor pieces only dropped on the new named monsters.

Swoop, Dread Lord etc etc.

I killed a Barracoon the other day and found Assassin Armor leggings on him. I didn't spawn it. Found it very early in the morning all alone in despise.
I'm wondering if he looted off a player earlier or it was part of his loot.

Can anyone confirm that they are included in Spawn champ loot?

Perhaps with the last publish they included more monsters that have set armor as loot or perhaps it was that way all along. I haven't actually started looking at armor so closely until recently.

I would guess the peerless bosses have always counted as named monsters, after all they are named are they not?

Maybe they finally decided set pieces needed to drop more, after the expansion being out for years and most of them still being rare as hell. lol

I know from personal experience and several other reports that the Shadowlords can drop "rare" set item pieces, what I would be more interested in is what exactly qualifies as a "named" monster...

Shadowlords arent exactly "named " per se, like Miasma or Swoop or Rend, BUT the flying warriors in the rift have daemon names, and we all know that daemons ARENT "named " monsters right?

I would also like to know what exactly CAN drop the rare set items now since the change, I personally havent gotten ANY set items from Swoops or Miasma since the change (running 1500 luck at that on my tamer)...

Anyone want to start compiling a list?

I've gotten a few set pieces from Miasma, though the drop rate is very slow as is the martie rate, which kinda sucks because the loot is generally crap. You might find one decent thing after several hours of squishing the little bugger.

Shadowlords definitely are dropping set pieces, both rare and not, as I've gotten the Assassin legs, Feathernock, and Myrmidon Helm on the rare side, and the Myrmidon gloves, Assassin arms, Leafweave legs &amp; one other I can't recall atm from the not so rare side.

I thought she was crazy, but my friend swears up and down she got a bit of virtue armor from ... an ettin in Despise. She had been killing them for an hour or so, trainng a new archer.

She was correct. The anti virtue dungeons drop the virtue armor. Everything except the cloak.
