AFK macroing on siege thread

I will not bash the decision of the mod who locked the thread, but i think there were some good points made within that thread and i want to ask the mod to unlock and "clean" the thread and maybe get things back on track with some of the opinions in that thread. Im no fan of masamuteks complaining but i think even he made some intelligent comments (which i didnt agree with) in response to other players. Im just asking to see if i can get others to support me in requesting that the thread be cleaned up to the point that we can discuss further

I wouldnt even go with unlocking that thread. Everything that needed to be said has been said in there. Simple fact is some people know how to argue points with some type of validity and others dont.

it was a very one sided argument with a bunch of people just complaining but not explaining so no reason to unlock it, will be the exact same thing.

I am obviously a proponent of this (see the end of the thread). I don't see why personal attacks and accusations need to be part of a mature conversation.

If players were able to get max skills in 30 days with 1hour and 30mins play per day I wouldn't turn a blind eye to afk macroers.

As things are with RoT right now it doesn't bother me a jot, they can't gain more than their 3.6 or 2.1 a day anyway, so I don't see the big deal.

Having said that, I do tell all NEW not to be afk and macroing as a lot of players will kill them for it. It doesn't bother me personally. I did all my gains the old-fashioned and tedious way, but I don't care if others follow suit or not when it comes to gaining skills with RoT as it is.

BTW , im not trying to resurect a dead thread here, just hoping to see more of the intelligent conversation i saw up till page 3, alot of good points were made here, we just got a little off course while making them

I certainly hope your not talking about my page 3 banter... if you are, clearly you didnt make it to page 4 where the intelligent one sided DEBATE continued with no validated response.

No, i didnt mean to make it seem like that, i dont even know who it was that started it, i was speaking of the spot where the names started coming out. I dont know if it was you or not. But when you flat out accuse someone of doing the illegal deeds then its against RoC. Thats the incident i was speaking of
