Advice needed (house condemned)

Ok, this is my situation. I had a small house, and I bought a large house (lg tower). I wanted to convert the tower to an 18x18 but when I converted it to customizable it wasn't that big, so I took it down so I could re-place an 18x18. It told me that I couldn't place another house so soon after receiving a house.

Well now I want to move back into my old, small house to wait out the week and buy another home. But it's condemned. What should I do??

Hrm, I think having bought a house you are now on the timer, and even if you drop the small to replace it you'll still be on the timer. You could give it a shot during server down and see what happens...other option would be to transfer it to another account that has been open at least 15 days.

I found an old friend who is going to sell back my old house that I had years and years ago. I am absolutely thrilled to say the least.

I have a BOD account that I used on another shard, it is 72 months old and I just created a new character on it. The character is "young" ... will she be able to buy a home? Or do I need to renounce the young player status first? Or do I have to wait until the character itself is 15 days old?

I think the character has to be 15 days old...not sure.

We managed to do the transfer. I renounced my young player status and then logged out and logged back in. The transfer went smoothly. Now I have my dream house again ... the house I placed just after Trammel began. I am so happy!

Thank you ... this house has HUGE sentimental value for me so I'm just delighted. It's at the very South tip of Moonglow island, the house right next to the farm house down there. It's 14x17 and I love it so. =)

I got caught out with this a few months ago. My situation was:

I owned a Keep and an 18x18.

I dropped the 18x18 on account 1
Then resized keep (hoping for castle that I KNEW would fit)
I accidently choose keep (not castle) and placed, relalising my mistake dropped the keep. BUT....
The 7 day timer had started, not a problem, I still had the first account (old 18x18). HOWEVER the land was temp unavalable for placing (1 hour period).

Blind Panic struck when a Red guild turned up (was in Fel). They tried placing, guessed my situation, so killed me and guarded the spot.

They placed my Castle (took me 2 yrs to get the plots).

I can now no longer go within 2 screens of that location!!


Yes, it was my fault, but the rules are a little vauge when resizing. I thought you could place as many times as you wanted with the hour period. This is not the case.



Oh well, lesson learned!

My guess would be that you don't just drop the keep but you'd have to say I wish to resize again....
