So about half a year ago, I got my first soul stone. Since I needed to have a lesson taught to me about reading the instructions first, I simply tried to transfer some skills over between characters and wound up losing 115 swords in the process. I learned my lesson and now know how soul stones work and things to be wary of.

Now, I have an advanced character token, which also comes without instructions and I was wondering if anybody could offer advice about using it before I go and make a big mistake which would cost a lot of my time and effort.

Here is the page where they can be bought. It lists what one can get from it and the limitations... Advanced Character Token

You have to get to 200 skill points or less on the character you use the token on.

Any skills greater than the token values will be replaced by the token value, so soulstone them off until done.

In My Opinion, the changes in skill gains (especially from the New Haven Quests), means there are only TWO Advanced character types worth using the token on - Tamer or Bard. All the others can be brute-forced or gotten in normal game play too easily.
